Honestly JoAnn no I have not tried it yet. But will as soon as I get a bag that is not something I usually keep in the house. If anyone tries it first please let me know. We are doing family night tonight where we watch a movie or something on tv and eat popcorn, my daughter loves this. If I can get my hands on a bag I will try it tonight. Will let you know

Ok tried the microwave popcorn this is what I found 1/4 cup makes about a single serving like the snack size bag. On the microwave setting mine went 3 minutes and it popped about half of it. Good thing is i put what didnt pop back in there and it popped in the same amount of time. I guess we will have to play with it to see exactly how long to put it on. Good thing about this is no added oils etc just the popcorn

I do this often for myself. I use a small plastic tupperware type container and leave one corner of the lid up so it isn't sealed completely. I don't measure, I just eyeball a small amount to go in and set the timer-stay close and turn it off as soon as the popping slows down (can always repop the ones that don't). Tastes very similar to the air popped machines. But healthier for you with no oils, butter's or salts.
