Tip for meal planning
Hope this will help someone.
I just received a free desk planner calendar from my insurance agent today. Normally I would never use something like this, but I had a lightbulb go on today.
I write down my meals each day in the desk planner, and if any are new recipes I paper clip them to the month. I sat down tonight and planned out the entire month of January.
This has helped me so much from grocery shopping to stress relieving. I no longer have to think about what I am going to make for dinner, I just look at my list (which is now in a convenient calendar). It also has helped my DH to help with dinner because again it is a no brainer, just look at the list.
Hope this idea can help someone as much as it has me.

ramen recipe
Hi there...I went to whole foods (whole paycheck!) lol and endulged in an asian soup bowl. I got the bright idea to recreate it with ramen. I usually have around hot pepper, cilantro and lemon/limes bc my fiance is african, but you simply cook the ramen, add some fresh hot pepper rings (jalapeno,cerrano,etc...) and some fresh cilantro. You can add leftover chicken, soy sauce, bean sprouts, or any veggies. I dont even go that far..just the fresh cilantro, squeeze to taste of fresh lemon, add the peppers and enjoy! Its cheap and somewhat represents the soup I had.

That is a great idea for an extra calendar I wouldn't have used otherwise. And it keeps my appointment planner from getting overloaded. Thanks!

Re: Tip for meal planning
I started writting down what we have for dinner each night on the calendar in the kitchen. I can look back and see when the last time we had something. It helps when I'm having brain fade on what to fix and need an idea, it's right in front of me.
