    Default 12/29 - 1/4

Ok, you guys have convinced me to plan ahead or at least try , I'll post what we had the first few days and how I plan to finish the week, all items on hand. I will also keep myself accountable in the future by keeping a record not only of money spend at the grocery store but also how it was spend, separating items into three catagories, need, stockpile, splurge. My goal for the new year is to use freezer and pantry items on hand, stockpile when I find good deals, keep splurges to a minimum and cut the grocery budget. For
just the 2 of us ( two grown children do come by and eat with us or grab a leftover plate about twice a week) I've averaged between 250 - 300 a month
