    bethaliz,

What type of gravy do you have ?

I really enjoy gravy over rice oh that is really good.

Go ahead and freeze it-- but it may not be as wonderful in texture when you thaw it. The thickener may separate a little, but bring it to a rolling boil and whisk it, and it should be ok!

If you have a FoodSaver, first freeze serving-size amounts in a flat-style plastic containers, then pop out and vacuum seal with your FoodSaver. Being flat they will stack and store better in your freezer and you can then pull out only the amount you need. Microwave or boil in bag the gravy to reheat it.

I got lots of uses for gravy depending on what type it is! Beef gravy mixed in with chopped potatoes and leftover beef and fried in a skillet to make hash. Chicken gravy mixed with some cream of chicken soup and poured over rice. White gravy mixed with a little sausage and poured over biscuits or toast.
