    Default Personlized Roast

    Personlized Roast

To create a personalized roast, choose and combine the following ingredients. Pick foods having compatible flavors. Figure 2 to 4 servings per pound of roast.

Start with 1 1/2 to 3 pounds of beef or pork:

    Chuck Roast
    Round Roast
    Rib Roast
    Blade Roast
    Pot Roast
    Fore Shank
    Standing Rump Roast
    Boneless Rump Roast
    Flank Roast
    Sirloin Roast
    English Roast
    Brisket
    Boston Butt

Preheat oven or multi cooker to 375 degrees. Brown roast in:

    Olive Oil
    Butter
    Margarine
    Vegetable Shortening
    Vegetable Oil

    Add 2 cups:

    Water
    Beer
    Tomato Juice
    Broth
    Coffee
    Red Wine
    Fruit Juice
    Carbonated Beverage

Add a pinch or two of:

    Salt
    Pepper
    Garlic
    Onion
    Celery

    Thyme
    Rosemary
    Oregano
    Marjoram
    Bay Leaf
    Mustard
    Dill
    Caraway
    Basil
    Dry Soup Mix

Place in roasting pan or whatever you want to use. Cover with lid or foil and put into preheated oven or multi cooker. Cook 1 to 3 hours.

This is a great guideline for making a roast. I saw this in one of my books and thought this would be great to post for anyone that could use.

    Enjoy!!

I liked too, because of all the choices. When I seen this, I just had to post it, it's such a great guideline to go by. This one is my favorites too.
