    Heart Breakfast Cookies

    Breakfast Cookies

    2/3 c butter, softened
    2/3 c sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    3/4 c all-purpose flour
    1-1/2 c quick-cooking oats, uncooked
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c wheat germ
    6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

    Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together; add remaining ingredients.


    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets; bake at 350 for 12-14 mins.

    Remove to wire rack to cool.

    Makes 2 dozen
