    Default Pineapple Smokie Links

    This makes a nice appetizer for a crowd.

    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    3 Tbs. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. ground mustard
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1-1/2 tsp. soy sauce
    2 lbs. miniature smoked sausages.

    In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, flour and mustard. Gradually add the pineapple juice, vinegar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add sausages and stir to coat. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes or until heated through. Serve warm.

    I sometimes dump this after it is prepared into the slowcooker and leave it on warm until ready to serve.
