Default Rice Pudding Recipe In A Mug

    Rice Pudding Recipe
A Great Gift In A Mug
This rice pudding recipe is for a mix, which you will place in a mug so that the recipient can make it when they are in the mood for a nice dessert or snack. The mug should hold at least 1-1/2 cups and should be microwave safe.

Save time and make several as gifts during the holidays. Think about teachers, your hairdresser, neighbors, coworkers or anyone you want to remember with a homemade gift

After you have assembled the gift, you can place the mug in a cello bag and close it with curly ribbon or you can place it in a small gift basket with a package of cookies, tea bags, or a small container of gourmet coffee.

    2/3 cup instant rice, uncooked
1/3 cup non-fat dry milk powder
    2 tablespoons sugar
    2 tablespoons raisins
    1 tablespoon corn starch
    Pinch of salt

Combine above ingredients in a small bowl. Spoon into a small food storage bag. Seal the bag and place in the mug.

Attach a gift card with these preparation instructions:

    Rice Pudding
    This Rice Pudding Mix
    3/4 cup water
    1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Empty contents of bag into the mug. Gradually add water stirring to mix well.

Cover mug with vented plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH for one minute. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Stir before serving and sprinkle with cinnamon.

This rice pudding recipe makes one serving.
