    Oven Rake

It requires a wood paint stirring stick (like the ones they give away at Home Depot), spray paint, and a sharp knife for carving two notches into it.

To begin, carve a pointed notch into the top of the stick, approximately 1/2 inch wide and 1/2 inch deep. Next carve a notch about 4 inches up from the bottom of the stick. This notch should be angled with the point aimed towards the top, and again it should be about 1/2 inch deep and 1/2 inch wide.

After the carving is done, spray-paint all sides. The purpose of this tool is to slide out hot racks from the oven (with the bottom notch) and to push the racks back in. (with the top notch)."
