1 1/2 cups long grain rice
6 Tbs butter
1 (4oz) pkg slivered almonds
salt & pepper
2 (10 1/2 oz) cans beef broth
1 cup water

Brown rice in skillet with butter. Stir in almonds, & add salt & pepper to taste. Place in greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish & pour in broth & water. Stir & cover. Bake for 45 minutes.
