Blackberry Cake- General Recipes

3 eggs ------ 2c. undrained blackberries 1 & 1/2c. sugar ------ 1 tsp. soda 1c. shortening ------ 3 & 1/2c. flour 2tsp. cinnamon ------ 2tsp. baking powder 1tsp. cloves

    Heart Blackberry Cake

    3 eggs ------ 2c. undrained blackberries
    1 & 1/2c. sugar ------ 1 tsp. soda
    1c. shortening ------ 3 & 1/2c. flour
    2tsp. cinnamon ------ 2tsp. baking powder
    1tsp. cloves ------

    Combine eggs, sugar, shortening, cinnamon and cloves in a mixer bowl-beat until blended. Add blackberries, soda, flour and baking powder- beat well. Pour into 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350* for 40 minutes. Makes 12 servings.

    Tip: mix all dry ingredients together --This proccess will make sure everything is blended well. When cool sprinkle w/ powder sugar.
