Pork Roast with Gravy
Rinse roast & pat dry. Salt & pepper to taste rubbing well into roast. Slice onion rings & lay on top of roast. Add enough water to almost cover top of roast. Place lid on pan & cook (for an 8 lb roast, cook 3 1/2 hrs at 350 degrees). Remove lid & turn on broiler to brown meat on all sides for just a few minutes.
Gravy: Thicken with Pillsbury flour or cornstarch. Add kitchen bouquet for flavor & color. Allow roast to sit for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
