    Fire Pasta Your Way

If you're craving pasta, the easiest type of pasta to make in many different flavors/styles for those requiring soft foods is CousCous.

This type of pasta is very small, has the texture of thick cream of wheat, cooks rapidly, and doesn't need to be pureed.

Here are some ideas for varying meals:

CousCous served with Alfredo Sauce- you can thin the Texture by adding more sauce

CousCous served with melted velveeta cheese for super easy, fast Mac-n-Cheese

    CousCous Lasagne:

    1/2 c. cottage cheese
    1/2 c. Ricotta cheese
    1/4 c. Parmesan Cheese
    2. C. Hot Cooked CousCous
    1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Spaghetti Sauce as needed to thin to the correct consistency. Bake for 15 minutes at 350. Add additional spaghetti sauce as needed.

Although this isn't "real" lasagne, it has excellent flavor and is super easy to make.

Although this isn't "Real" lasagne, it has the flavor of lasagne

CousCous- with butter, salt and pepper

1 cup dry couscous = 2-1/2 cups cooked.

This is a great substitute. I just told everyone it was a new kind of lasagna-they all ate it loved it!
    Thanks
