    Thanks so much for this list. I just found out I have TMJ & I have had severe jaw pain for a couple weeks now. Its very hard to find yummy foods to eat. If you have any other ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

    My 17 year old daughter is having all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed in a couple of weeks and this thread is wonderful!!!

    This is a great list....my daughter tonsils had been taken out last year and I wish I had this list then!! Thanks!!

    Meatballs in various sauces are generally pretty soft and easy to eat, just don't overcook them.

    Depending on why you need soft foods, be careful with the sauces... Acidic ones can irritate sore mouths with stitches and recent surgeries (OJ, spaghetti sauce, etc).

    I learned this one the hard way!
