Texas-Style Barbecued Chicken

3 to 3 1/3-pounds chicken legs
1/3-cup flour
1-tsp salt
1/8-tsp peppe
2-tbsp vegetable shortening
1/2-tsp paprika
1/4-tsp celery seed
1 1/2-cups hickory-smoke-flavored barbecue sauce

Coat chicken with a mixture of flour, salt, and pepper. Brown chicken

on all sides in shortening in large skillet. Put browned chicken legs
into an electric cooker. Sprinkle with paprika and celery seed. Add
barbecue sauce. Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours.
