    Default Detergent recipe

Hi, On the recipe for detergent it talks about washing soda. Do they mean baking soda? If not what is washing soda?

    Thanks,

    Mary

No it is washing soda. Wal Mart doesn't seem to have it. Some grocery stores do though. I found it by the borax at my store. Arm and Hammer brand a different yellow with stripes and it does say washing soda. Only a couple dollars for a large box that lasts for awhile.

I found all the soaps needed to make the laundry detergent in my local Acme. In the laundry aisle.
