Cherry Muffins- General Recipes

1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 small bottle maraschino cherries, cut up 2 eggs 3 Tbs melted butter 1 cup cherry juice & milk combined Prepare pans. Stir together dry ingredients & add cherries. Mix eggs, cherry liquid & melted butter. Add dry mix to

    Default Cherry Muffins


    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 small bottle maraschino cherries, cut up
    2 eggs
    3 Tbs melted butter

    1 cup cherry juice & milk combined

    Prepare pans. Stir together dry ingredients & add cherries. Mix eggs, cherry liquid & melted butter. Add dry mix to the wet mix until just combined. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 9-10 large muffins.

    Where can you get cherry juice? I've never used it before.

    I'm not sure. I think they just mean the juice out of the jar of maraschino cherries?

    Thanks, I went back and looked at the recipe. It said cherry juice combined with milk. I guess I didn't read it right the first time.
