    Pan-Seared Steak with Smoked Paprika-Herb Sauce
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 tbs olive oil
    2 tsp red wine viegar
    1/2 tsp smoked paprika
    1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 tbs parsley
    1 tbs cilantro
    2 6-oz beef tenderloin or sirloin steaks

    1/2 tsp pepper
    1/4 tsp salt
    Whisk garlic, oil, vinegar, paprika and cayenne pepper in small bowl. Stir in parsley and cilantro. Sprinkle steaks with pepper and salt. Heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Cook steaks 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare, turning once. Serve with sauce. Makes 2 servings = about 380 calories.

    I picked up some "flat iron" steaks and am wondering how they would taste cooked this way?? I think I may try it.

    I know for a fact that they will be perfect as a friend made them this way two weeks ago and they were good! it's interesting to eat a 'version' of your own recipe cooked by someone's else! LOL!
