    In addition to the above tip, when you first purchase grain/flour/rice from the store, it's been through a mill. Chances are pretty high that the product you purchased already contains eggs from various types of grain bugs. We put all of our grains/flour/rice in the freezer for 24 hours after we get them home to kill any eggs that might be in them. Then transfer them to air tight/moisture tight containers for storage.
