Create your own eerie bloodshot eyeballs and bleeding brains with an unusual twist, these eerie edibles are stuffed with cookies! All you need to complete this easy project is . . .
You’ll Need:
a Wilton Candy Mold
Easy Melt Chocolates in several colors- white, red, green, black or whatever colors you like
Chocolate Twist Cookies (Oreo Style!)
Alternatively, you could use almond bark and add your own coloring
Melt each of the colored chocolates in a separate dish, about 30 seconds in the microwave, then stir, then repeat until completely melted and smooth. It helps to place the chocolate in a bowl of hot water to keep it soft and workable.
“Paint” each color in the chocolate mold. Make sure that each color area is thoroughly coated.
Once they’re coated, give them a few minutes to set. Pour in enough white chocolate to cover the bottom of the mold and then insert the cookie into the mold. Pour chocolate over the rest to completely cover it. Use a toothpick to gently push chocolate down into the sides to ensure that they are completely and evenly coated all around.
Place the mold in the fridge or in a cool spot to set.
To remove, invert the mold and press very gently. They will pop right out!
