Just wanted to say if you freeze the whipping cream and it doesn't whip after being thawed that there is another use for it. You can add some to your spaghetti sauce. My dmil saw someone do this on tv and I have done it ever since and either use whipping cream, heavy cream or light cream. It takes the bite out of the sauce and makes it creamier. I don't measure anymore but probably put in about 2 tbsps.
