1 lb. cheddar cheese, sliced thin
1 lb. cooked ham sliced thin
2 cans asparagus spears, drained
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Butter or margarine

Divide asparagus spears into bunches with 3 to 5 spears in each.
Start with one piece of ham, top with a piece of cheese,
add another piece of ham, and one more piece of cheese.
Lay asparagus on one end and roll the ham and cheese layers around the asparagus.
Continue making your roll-ups until you use all of the asparagus.
Gently lay the roll-ups in a 9" x 13" baking dish.

Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and top each roll up with a pat of butter (or margarine).

Bake about 25 minutes in preheated 350 degrees F oven.
Cheese should melt and be slightly browned.

Serve with crisp, green salad.
