    Default Vidalia onions

I am from Australia, what do I use instead of these? We have white, pickling, brown, pickling and red.(aka Spanish). We have shallots, spring onions and green onions. Brown or white large would be the only ones that would make onion rings, not the pickling size in either.

    Thank you
