    Default Italian Salad Dressing

    Italian Salad Dressing
    1/3 cup powdered Parmesan cheese
    1 tbs garlic powder
    1 tbs onion powder
    1 tbs paprika
    2 tsp celery seed
    1 tbs sesame seeds
1 tbs dried Italian seasoning blend
    1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
    1 tsp salt

    1/8 tsp pepper
Mix ingredients in a medium bowl and stir well to blend. Store mix in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. Will keep for several months.
This makes a great gift for a birthday OR someone starting a diet -- you can show support by providing them with the jar and/or providing the recipe!

Oops! Thanks for catching my faux pas! I somehow forgot to add what you needed. Here it is:
2 tbs Italian Salad Dressing Mix
2 tbs water or white wine
    1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Combine Italian Salad Dressing Mix with all other ingredients in a glass jar with screw top lid. Shake vigorously to combine. Store any leftovers in refrigerator.
Again this is great for use at home and/or giving the (dry) ingredients with the above recipe.
Thanks again, adburge, for pointing out what I had failed to include! I have no idea where my brain was to leave out the crucial ingredients for this!
    Picture me blushing...sigh...

The very first ingredient, powdered parmesan (not shredded), in the recipe above calls for 1/3 cup;-D
