This is great! And, no need for another appliance to clutter the counter or the cabinets!

This intrigues me. I don't have cheesecloth on hand. Would a strainer work?

Soaking fruits in a sink full of warm water with 1 cup of white vinegar added will remove everything that was on the skin! Leaves a really nasty blackish water in the sink but the fruit comes out sparkling!
Question tho: straining the mixture, would a coffee filter work here? I don't keep cheese cloth in my truck. I do have a small personal-sized blender that would be ideal for this application.

WOW, This is great. I have been thinking about juicing for better health but a juicing matching is so expensive. I'm trying this method. That way if it's not for me I haven't invested money on a machine I don't use. Thanks so much.

delighted to find this article. My daughter got me interested in juicing but I didn't want to buy a new appliance. I have cheesecloth and I have a strainer. Thanks also for the ideas for using the pulp!
