It seems like every month there is another gift giving obligation; birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations, and holidays. However, it is possible to give great gifts that your friends and family will love and all with spending little or no money.

    For household showers, I always buy a laundry basked (5.00) and then go to the dollar store and get essentials to fill it up. Toilet paper, Paper towels, dish cloths and towels, cooking utensils, chip bag clips, magnetic clips, measuring spoons, measuring cups...etc. I set a limit on how much I am going to spend, usually $20, then if I happen to have some home made jelly left, I put a jar or two in it.
    Another thing I like to do is get a recipe container, then I take some of my favorite recipes and write them down on some of the cards that come with it.
