Hi all y'all! I'm from Oklahoma, where "y'all" is singular, "all y'all" is plural, and "we all" are a friendly bunch of folks!

I'm interested in tasty dry mix recipes for main meals and side dishes. My interest is in food storage, outdoor grilling, survival cooking, and everyday cooking. Some of my neighbors and I are planning to grow and trade veggies this year, and I will be dehydrating many of mine. We like to barbecue, so oftentimes, when we go to the grocery store, we'll buy a little extra of whatever meat is on sale that week. We put seasonings, or dry rub, or marinade on it, and then use the vacuum sealer and put it in the freezer. It's so much nicer to pull a lemon-pepper pork tenderloin out of the freezer, than to pay twice the price for one that's preseasoned at the store. I made a solar oven last year, and I want to learn some new ways to use it this year.
