Most people don't realize that by bundling up and keeping warm, you are helping to store your fat. When you are trying to lose weight, every little tip can help, the most stubborn fat in our bodies is brown fat (I call it survival fluff), stored on our bodies to burn to keep us warm when needed. I use a cold compress on my shoulders and on my back for 20 minutes a day, sometimes more, usually while at the computer. When I get too cold I take it off and warm up on my own (no sweaters). I also take cold showers, and swim in cold water whenever possible. Shiver me timbers!
