Thanks Girl! Hubby enjoys hunting and I enjoy having the fresh, basically organic, red meat that's NOT from the grocery store...at the grocery store's prices. lol
Talk about being jealous...Girl, I am SO jealous of your creativity with recipes and menus!! You're one talented lady and I've really appreciated said recipes and menus.

Aw, shucks, hun-ney...you just made my day! LOL! I was blessed to grow up in a unique situation! I was the only girl in the neighborhood and it was a neighborhood of immigrants, except for my parents. It was the era of women being in the home and I was 'passed' around (so-to-speak) from neighbor to neighbor to help in the kitchen. So from the age of six, I learned to cook and bake a variety of dishes from a varied culinary source. I learned from fabulous home-makers how to prepare so many dishes...being, again, blessed with an exceptional memory that it started me on my life-long journey to produce good meals at reasonable costs. My neighborhood consisted of immigrants from most of Europe, Asia, Russia, and combined with my parents' influence I collected a large amount of cooking/baking background to share with all of you. Since most of the recipes that I learned were 'a little of this, a little of that, and a dash of whatever' I've worked over the years to get them to a recipe that someone could follow. Once I get them to that point, I commit them to paper and share with all of you. One of these days I'll approach the publisher that was interested in publishing my cookbook (most recipes posted here...giggle...) before my home burned down...sigh...everything was lost...sigh...

Bless your heart (as they say in the South), you are so kind! My goal is to have it completed by Summer. Maybe you can help (or anyone here for that matter...giggle...). My original thought was to have it 'sectioned' by Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, Kitchen Gifts, Spice Mixes, Menus for Special Occasions, Stocking a Pantry, and finally -- how to plan a menu with samples using loss-leaders.
What do ya'll think of that organization? Too much, too little, combining stuff, etc.?
Fortunately, I've posted most of my recipes here. I lost, perhaps, maybe 30 or 40 recipes that hadn't been posted yet. The recipes that I've posted in the last few years, I've had to play with to get them 'right' before posting. I didn't want to post anything just from memory until I had it right! LOL!
The biggest thing is to organize it just right for easy use. AND I still have to come up with a title! I need a title that says 'why someone should buy my cookbook' over the gazillion others on the market! The publisher said not to worry about it, but I want everything to be right when I submit to them and leave nothing to question! Thoughts?!!

Oh Doll, I don't know. I'm -definitely- not one of the creative ones here...
To me, it sounds good the way you've got it mentally organized.
A reason to buy it over all the others...most only have the basics, but your cookbook has BONUSES!! It contains the basics PLUS specialty spice mixes, Kitchen gifts, Menus, Stocking, AND sample menus!!!
Avid cookbookers know a book, such as this, would be a GOLD MINE plus some!!
