    Default Bis-Qwik Baking Mix

    Bis-Qwik Baking Mix
    8 cups flour
1-1/4 cups nonfat dry milk powder
    1/4 cup baking powder
    1 tbs salt
    2 cups solid vegetable shortening

In a large bowl, combine flour, milk, baking powder, and salt. With a pastry blender or two knives, cut in shortening until the mixture looks like coarse cornmeal and the shortening is evenly distributed. Store in tightly closed covered container in a dark, cool place. Use in place of 'Bisquick' in any recipe.

Thank you for sharing your version Mos! There are several others here on the site as well I just made the Quickie Mix 12 cup version yesterday so I could make the Parmesan garlic biscuits I saw on Grocerybudget101. They were Yummy! I've never really thought of adding herbs to biscuits before.

How do you make waffles with this recipe, do you have to add eggs?
