      Apple Crisp for Two
2 cups peeled, cored, and sliced apples
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
      1/4 cup all-purpose flour
      1/4 cup oats
      1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
      1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
      3 tablespoons soft butter
Place apples in a buttered 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter. Mix until crumbly.

Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is nicely browned. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping.

      Apple crisp serves 2.

Awesome, thank you for posting this, it is just myself and my husband, we can never eat a whole pie. BUT I love to make them. Gonna try this one.

This would be a ‘perfect’ dessert for a special dinner for just the two of you!
I’m a single so when it comes to desserts, I usually prepare something like this;-D

This is the perfect amount for us, thank you! I found that if I peel 2 apples, it’s just the right amount for the recipe.

I so hope that both of you let me know how you like it! As I said, I’m a single and coming up with recipes for one or two can be challenging. If you’ve been perusing the site, you’ll notice that I cook as if I had a family!

BUT when it comes to desserts, I mostly try to just cook for me;-D
