This one is so delectable!

Cake ingredients:
1 18.25-ounce box devil's food cake mix- baked according to the box directions


Buttercream Frosting
1 1/2 cup butter, softened (3 sticks)
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chilled

Use a piece of dental floss to cut evenly through the cake to make 3 even layers. Use a light-sawing motion to split the cake.

In a stand mixer combine butter and half of the powdered sugar, the vanilla extract and milk and whip until smooth, add the remaining powdered sugar gradually until it's light and fluffy.

Lightly frost each layer, stack them, repeat. Top with chopped semi-sweet chocolate.
