Default An idea for coworkers gift / and a question

I only have two people that I work with that I feel like I need to give
a Christmas gift to, but I always struggle on what to give. Well, I
haven't given it to them yet, but I will on Tuesday. I am making a
meal for both. I have made a 9 x 9 foil pan with a main dish (cheesy
chicken and rice, a frozen cranberry salad, some homemade rolls and a
ramen noodle cole slaw. The frozen things are done and in the
freezer. I have the shredded cabbage in a zip lock bag, the dressing
in a jar, and a small zip lock back for the crunched up ramen noodles,
sesame seed and almonds. I ordered homemade rolls from an Amish lady
and I get to pick that up tomorrow. The salad should keep for several
days, and the rest can be kept frozen until ready to thaw and eat. I
know that they are both busy women and complain about wanting to have a
nice meal with their families... so although it is not a fancy meal - I
hope it will give them a nice evening this week. Mary in KS

ps - does anybody have a poem or saying for a meal gift??

I did something similar last Christmas for my daughter's kindergarten teacher - frozen home made chili, corn muffins and pineapple upside down cake- the muffins and cake were in throw away tin pans from the dollar store- they brought me their own tupperware to put the chili in...it was a huge hit!

    Hi Mary,

Would you please share the recipe for the dishes, including the ramen
cole slaw, the frozen cranberry salad and the cheesy chicken and rice.

    TIA.

    Laine
