Chocolate Pudding Cake

1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1-1/2 cups hot tap water

Heat oven to 350 ? F.
Combine flour, granulated sugar, the first 3 Tbsp cocoa, baking powder,

and salt in medium bowl. Add milk and oil; mix well. Pour into ungreased
9x9x2-inch pan. Combine brown sugar and second 3 Tbsp cocoa in small
bowl; spread evenly over batter in pan. Pour hot water evenly over
mixture. Bake 45 minutes.
Cut into 9 pieces while hot; spoon sauce from the pan over each serving.
Serve with ice cream, if desired. Makes 9 servings.
