I LOVE making my fried rice like this. lol
When I make it, it's usually just tossing left over ingredients together, such as rice and left over veggies.
I add fresh onion, garlic, maybe zucchini, (if I have it on hand), and scramble an egg or two.
If I've got left over chicken, well...yep, I have chicken fried rice. lol
I love being able to utilize my left overs...

Your recipe sounds much more professional and glamorous than mine though.

Giggle...it's all in the printing, my friend! LOL!
I think that I just heard something that was interesting on the tv...ya know how it's on and you are only half-listening? Well, I think that I just heard a commercial stating that the person cooks because they like to mix the ingredients and make something special. All of you ABSOLUTELY know that I looked up at this point and it was...wait for it...a commercial for Swanson frozen dinners! LOL! ...giggle...let me know when ya'll sample something as tasty as what we cook up in a Swanson frozen dinner...giggle...
