Okay, this is a fun subject, but one I have experience with. Not so
much now that I started using Aveda products--a little more
expensive, but worth every dime. The latest information I have read
in Health magazine and other says it is okay to pop your pimples, it
will not leave a mark. Then tonight before bed, put toothpaste on it.
It will sting for a minute. But leave the toothpaste on when you go
to bed. It will dry it out over night--sounds weird, but works like a
    charm.

That is the best I got. I know that won't help you for church
tonight, but you'll be a step ahead in the morning.

Sometimes our bodies change when we start or stop different medicines,
stress or hormones. I stop using birth control pills a few years ago and my
    skin
went crazy. Make sure the astringent doesn't have alcohol it could be
irritating your skin. Try using a spot treatment product with 2% Salicylic acid
    or
Benzoyl peroxide ,what those products do is exfoliate the dead skin cells off
of the blocked pimple. Scrubbing can irritate the skin so harsh scrub
shouldn't be used. You can use a moisturizer for acne prone skin that has a
    small
amount Salicylic acid in it to help keep break out under control. Hope this
helps a little. Sometimes a little ice on the blemish and an Advil will take
    the
swelling down but there aren't any quick cures.
