If you are like me, i love to change my front door wreath every season, well it started to get expensive every few months going to the craft store and buying a new one. My last trip there gave me a brain storm. instead of buying a pre-made wreath i bought a plain do it youself twig-type wreath.
flowers can be bought at a dollar store or wal-mart to save some $$. heres the trick. instead of hot gluing the flowers or using a tacky glue, just keep the stems long and weave them through the twigs.
it still looks gorgeous and i can change the flowers with any passing mood! it may not be a huge savings but it also knocks down the amount of clutter you accumulate by keeping 4-6 wreaths stored in the attic. - April 28, 2009 at 10:47 pm #420548Janice Terrell
Great idea. Maybe not a huge savings but a savings never-the-less. Every little bit helps.
