    Star Simple Baked Potato Slices

    When funds are low, you can count on"
    Simple Baked Potato Slices
    4 medium baked potatoes, about 6 to 8 ounces each
    3 tablespoons melted butter
    sea salt
    freshly ground black pepper
    garlic powder, optional
    onion powder, optional
    Heat oven to 425. Line a baking pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.


    Scrub the potatoes, removing dirt and any imperfections. Slice the unpeeled potatoes into rounds about 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick.
    Toss the potato slices with the melted butter.Spread out on the prepared baking pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and onion and garlic powders, if using. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned, turning about every 4 to 5 minutes.

    Yum. Yum .. I love potatoes. Potatoes, butter, garlic.. three things that go great together. I can't wait to try. I got a 15lb bag on sale this week. Going to have to work this into the menu. Thank you

    Can't you just imagine what these puppies would taste like fresh from the grill...or...I'm showing my Southern roots here...baked, as per instructions ,with a bit of 'bacon grease'...Oh my!
