This recall involves hammock-style bassinets for children made by artisans in Equador. The head and foot of the bassinet and the sleeping surface are made of white fabric. The sides of the cradle are made of white netting attached to a wooden tie. The cradle is hung from cables located in the four corners of the bed.

Hazard identified

Health Canada has determined that the recalled bassinets do not meet certain labelling, construction and performance requirements of the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

Neither Trésart Caché nor Health Canada has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.

In Canada, 37 recalled products were sold.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold between March 2013 and August 2013.

Manufactured in Ecuador.
