      I also save my cards and anyone else’s who wants to give them to me. They are great as gift tags for Xmas. Also, if your kids get Halloween, Thanksgiving, Eastercards, etc they can also be reused as your own greeting cards.

      A bit of card stock (thicker than paper & stronger than construction paper), ink stamps, other craft things andyourimagination and you’ve got great greeting cards. I love card stock and am always looking for more ideas about crafting with recyclables.

      I thought I would just add to this subject in regards to wrappings used at Christmas…My ex mother in law would save her Christmas cards and then cut them apart and use the picture side as gift tags as on the other side is usually blank…it makes for a unique wrap..i’ve used it and love it…
