Default FABRIC SAMPLES -- any ideas??

    ****************
    GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

I need some ideas.... I found a EXPO store (part of Home Depot) that is closing
yesterday and they had all their fabric sample books for sale..CHEAP! These are
the books like the wallpaper samples..except they are for upholstery and drapes
    etc....
One book has samples in rectangles approx 12 x 6 inches and the other book
has samples approx 24 x 24!! They are GORGEOUS patterns and really nice/thick
    fabric!!

I was picturing some kind of a purse out of the large ones but have no idea
    where to start...and I'm NOT a seamstress!!!!!

Also, I was picturing bookmarks out of the rectangle ones....

**I'd love some more ideas ---- Please help!

if you dont like to sew, you could always get a hot glue gun ( under $ 5 at ant
dollar store ) and cover old picture frames. Just glue the material together to
make pillows or curtains ( hems ). hopefully you"ll get more tips. enjoy
    your day

how about the standard -- throw pillows...print on one side and solid
on the other. smaller pieces could be made into sachets for drawers or
closets. 'neat' patches on jeans or a 'plain' tote bag... these are
what popped out when I read your post.
