sweet onion buttered hot rolls
(you will eat them before you get to the table) 1 loaf frozen “Bake at Home”
bread dough
Sweet Onion Butter
sweet onion butter1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup finely grated Vidalia onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 sprigs parsley, minced (optional)
Mix ingredients, stir well. Mixture will keep for days in the refrigerator.
Place frozen loaf on greased baking pan to thaw and rise at room
temperature. Cover with wax paper.Let dough rise at room temperature to
half of the volume, about 2-1/2 hours. Cut dough with sharp knife in pieces
of 1-1/2 inch diameter. Roll pieces of dough into balls.Roll the ball of
dough around once in melted Sweet Onion Butter mixture. Place on baking
sheet about 2 inches apart. Cover with wax paper.Let rolls rise until
double in size, about 2 hours. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place rolls in
oven and bake for twenty-five minutes or until golden brown.Source : Bake at Home
