    Default Making fruit baskets?

I have been searching for hours and have not found a site that tells
me how to make a fruit basket. I need quite a few for a group I am in
and the budget is very limited to buying them is out of the question.
Does anyone know where I can find information on how to properly make

    a fruit basket? Kim

Re: Budget101.com : Making fruit baskets

    I don't have any "instructions"... I just know that I tried a tip I
read about... never mix apples with any other fruit(s)-- the apples
make the other fruit go bad. I experimented and sure enough~~ the
other fruit went bad much quicker!!! That is my only 'tip'.

I found this recipe for you:

    Fruit Gift Basket Instructions

Use a pretty basket. Fill basket with any or all of
    these items:

Apples, oranges, hot chocolate mix, various teas and
dried fruits (like figs or raisins). Sprinkle nuts on
    top of everything.

Place clear gift wrap under the basket, bring it over
the top of the basket, and tie it up with a big pretty
    bow!

Another suggestion, just look at the pics of the
baskets and use as an example. Remember what another
person informed us of, about the apples making the
    other fruit go bad.
I buy baskets at Goodwill or Thrift Town---cheap.
    Hope this helps some.

    And another note...

Storing an apple in your potato drawer/cabinet will keep them from sprouting

    fast. Meaning they'll keep longer!
