Anyone Dehydrate Fruits & Vegetables?

I am interested in advice on dehydrating fruits and veggies for stockpiling. Have done research on food dehydrators (solar and otherwise). Would appreciate any experience that you'd like to discuss. Thanks in Advance!

I've owned various brands of electric dehydrators and have been

dehydrating foods for about 10 years. I love the convenience of dried

foods for meal prep as well as lunch boxes, snacking, etc. My dd (our

picky eater) is hooked on my dried fruits and her classmates beg her to

share her dehydrated fruit and fruit roll-ups with them. I like that you

can use up produce that would otherwise go rotten, I can stock up on

produce when it goes on sale and eat it year round, the finished product

takes up so little space (you'd be shocked at how compact it becomes)

and everything is preservative & dye free. As a bonus, it is fun drying

    foods and getting creative.
