Help---Clothes color bleed onto other clothes

Help---Clothes color bleed onto other clothes

I washed some clothes in cold water. I didn't think about a red skirt being in with the other clothes but the red color got onto a pair of white pants and a cream color shirt. What can I do to get the red color off these? Thank you

There is something called dye removed by Rit, and it's found with the

Rit dyes. I've had good luck using that.

Wash them with some bluing in the water. It will help. I don't know how it helps, but my Mom used to to use it when we were younger.

Also, there is now a product out that is labeled "detergent that stops color transfer" or something.

When you wash the load, hang them to dry - no clothes dryers.
