    Default Question:Freeze milk

Milk you need to open and let some of the milk out before you freeze, or the bottle will burst. Also, bread you can freeze and use for toast, but it will never be good for sandwiches unless toasted.

    Default Question:Freeze milk

You can definitely freeze bread in the package it comes in or in a

ziploc-remove most of the air-will last for months.

You can freeze milk-I do skim milk anyhow-I will put mine in freezer

containers so there is room for expansion.

    Default Question:Freeze milk

I always freeze milk in the gallon jug that it comes in from the store. You do need to break the seal and pour off about 1/2 of a cup before freezing. Liquids expand when they freeze and the top of the plastic jug can split if you don't pour a little off. I havekept it a month or more. If you use a deep freezer that reaches temps below zero degrees, you could easily keep itmonths.

    Default Question:Freeze milk

I have never frozen milk but that’s a great idea. I
always freeze bread right in the bag it comes in and use it just as is when I
take it out. If it is really fresh when I freeze it, it will be pretty fresh
tasting when I take it out and thaw it. Lisa

    Default Question:Freeze milk

I just toss the bread in the freezer (in package it came in,

unopened). Then when I need it, get it out and let it thaw. We

haven't noticed a difference in taste/look (unless it's been in there

for months). We use it for everything. I do buy the whole wheat

bread, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.
