    Default Khakis that last

My husband is a pharmasist and wears khakis everyday to work. He is

really hard on them and he likes chocolate and BBQ sauce which

sometimes ends up on his pants. He works on cars too, most of the time

he remembers to change into garage pants...Sometimes he goes fishing

after work and may not change. Really, he usually goes through at least

6-10 pairs of pants a year, maybe more. His last "batch" was from old

navy and a couple pairs from Walmart (the ones from Old Navy have a

hole in them and are work on on the edges, the Walmart khakis seemed to

have thinned). We need some really heavy duty pants that do not look

heavy duty and stand up to washings. We bought some early this spring

and he needs more pants already. He needs shirts too.

Try Uniform Dickies. They last, my kids use them for school and play. My husband

is a reset merchandiser and is always on the floor and like your husband tends

to fish after work without changing. I have learned to take them when he takes

them off and place them in the washer with a little bit of tide bleack for

colors and the stains never set in.

They aren't cheap, but Columbia makes nice sturdy men's clothing...to save money, you might have him try them on to see what size and fit is right, then look for them NWT on eBay...

<FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color="#00407f" size="3"> My son wears the Dickies brand and they hold up well. However, if your husband wears his pants every day to work and fish, I do not think 6-10 pair a year is bad. I think it is great.
