Yep, a chance at that would be worth a hundred bucks.

<DIV style="FONT-FAMILY: Comic Sans MS;">Me personally no! I just don't see paying that kind of money to try and win something. I never spend money to try and win something. Now if its a product I already buy then I consider winning something a added bonus. Like I drink Diet Dr.pepper and they just did a contest on their bottles. But I didn't but any more then I usually did to try to win. So no way would I ever pay $100 in cash to try and win something.

I personally would not because we don't have money to waste on something that is not a sure shot especially the odds being 1 in 1,500. If we had the money to burn and didn't have to count every last penny maybe but even then I am not sure. Anyway 3 bedrooms isn't enough for my family unless they are large rooms there are 7 people in the family.

I saw this mentioned on the news a few months ago. It seems the

market is so slow, the people have decided on this "novel" way to

sell their house. They can not get what they want by selling it, so

    are doing it this way.

Or this might be someone else that saw the same program and liked the idea.

No!! Not without investigating the company running the contest.

Google the company and the contest and see what information you can

find. How did you find out about the contest, through unsolicitated

emails or did you seek it out? It sounds like a good prize, but "If

it's too good to be true...."

Several years ago, I remember a contest like this. The people wanted to sell their house but wanted to go to someone who would appreciate the house (or something like that) and took essays on why you would want the house. If I remember correctly they accepted the amount of essays that was equivalent to the amount of the house. They also charged the $100 entry fee. There should be a story about it some where on the internet as I remember they had a picture of the winner. Becky

They also have a cute movie called The Spitfire Grill that they start a contest like this to sell a restaurant with a house attached. If I had $100 to dispose of just like that, I would.

As long as it was well publicised local news etc so it was clear not a scam I

    wouldn't have any objections.

Think the guarantee of money return of minimum bot reached good idea too.

Think the idea of all picking a favourite and then someone else choosing would

be fair way to do it.
