5 Ingredient Meals: Salmon (or Crab) cakes
Salmon (or Crab) cakes
2 cans salmon, drained
3 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup bread crumbs (store bought or make your own)
dried dill to taste
other seasonings as desired (I use a garlic herb blend)
salt to taste
Mix all ingredients together. Heat about 1/3 cup olive oil in large
skillet over medium heat. Form salmon mixture into patties. I like my
patties smaller rather than large. Fry patties for about 3 minutes on
each side. Drain on plate covered with paper towels.
Serve with cocktail sauce, a remoulade (I make one with mayo and
cocktail suace), tartar sauce, or a fruit glaze reduction.
