    Default REC: Patriotic Dump Cake

    Patriotic Dump Cake

A true "dump it and run" special. It's hard to find an easier
    cake recipe.

    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 cup fresh blueberries
19 oz. pkg. white cake mix
    1 cup butter, melted
    1 cup chopped nuts

In a 9x12" greased pan, layer the ingredients in the order
listed. Bake at 325F for 45 minutes. Serves 4.

    ~Enjoy !~

So you don't have to mix anything just pour everything in ? On the cake mix all you do is add dry cake mix? or am I understanding this wrong

You never stir dump ckaes. That is why they are called "dump" cakes.

They are so easy and there are so many variations. My daughter loves

    to make these.

<SPAN class="129441916-20062008">Okay, on the Patriotic Dump cake, I made this last night and it was very good, however, when I make it again I will cut the butter back to 2/3 and use about 1/2 the amount of cake mix.

<SPAN class="129441916-20062008">OR, keep the cake mix and butter amounts and instead use a 9x13 pan, 2 cans of cherry filling and 2 cups of blueberries. The berry/cake ratio was kind of off to me, which made it toorich for my tastebuds.
